Sandgate residents, community groups and businesses are invited to make bids for funding, or to make suggestions as to where the society should directly spend money, to improve the appearance and life of the village.
There is no formal application form – an email (preferably) sandgatesociety@gmail.com or letter will do – but please try and include the following points
- location
- the issue(s) eg run down communal area, poor signage, materials for a community group
- What would you like to do or would want the society to do
- estimated cost
- your name and contact details
The society’s committee will consider all applications/suggestions and get back to you as soon as possible.
Priority for spending/funding will be given to projects that enhance heritage and community assets for the benefit of the community.
